We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way (such as via fax or during clinical encounters). In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. Information regarding medical history, symptoms, and Long-Term Care (LTC) facility status provided for triage purposes. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, or fill out a form on our website, submit a signed Consent Form via fax or in-person, interact with our automated clinical agents via SMS or voice, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

KC Medical Care provides a text-messaging service for clinical coordination. By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive recurring text messages from us.

  • No Third-Party Sharing: Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

  • Opt-Out: You may revoke your consent and opt-out of SMS at any time by texting "STOP" to our number.

  • Help: For assistance with messaging, reply "HELP".

  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on clinical necessity.

HIPAA & Clinical Communications Disclaimer

While we utilize secure servers for data storage, standard SMS/Text messaging is not an inherently encrypted medium. By opting into SMS communications, you acknowledge the risk that clinical notifications may be visible on a mobile device and agree to communicate via this channel for the sake of care coordination. Your use of these messaging services is also governed by our Terms and Conditions. For life-threatening emergencies, always call 911.

How do we use cookies and other tracking tools?

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive that contains information about the user. By using a cookie on our site, a user does not have to log into the site using a password more than once. Cookies also enable our site to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience on the site. Using a cookie while on our site does not provide us with the user’s personal information. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates.
